Après un court vol, nous voilà arrivés de l'autre côté de la mer d'Irlande, à Belfast!
Le bus pour aller de l'aéroport au centre ville coutant quand  même £6... nous avons partagé un taxi.  Ce qui revenait au même niveau prix et était plus rapide!  Sans compter que le taxi nous a déposé juste devant notre hostel... :o) On a même eu droit à quelques conseils de la part du chauffeur. :o)

After a really short flight, we arrived in Belfast!
As the bus to go to the city centre was quite expensive, we took a taxi. It was the same price and faster...


Après avoir déposé nos affaires à l'hostel, nous avons erré un peu dans la ville, puis avons quelques courses.

After letting our stuff at the hostel, we walked a bit in the centre, near the Belfast City Hall.


Une fois rentrés, nous avons cuisiné, mangé, puis je suis allée faire un tour au "Belfast Empire" avec Ioannis et Robin, un bar que le chauffeur de taxi nous avait conseillé. La musique était sympa mais étant donné notre état de fatigue après ces déjà trois jours de voyage, nous ne sommes pas restés très longtemps...

Later, i went to the Belfast Empire with Ioannis and Robin. The taxi driver told us about this bar. It was fun but we were so tired that we did not stay for long...

Nous avons quitté l'hostel aux alentours de 10:30.
L'ayant raté la veille, nous sommes allées au  Belfast Harbour Office. Ioannis et Robin n'ont pas manqué grand chose vu que le quartier est en plein travaux... Le bâtiment est sympa, mais à part ça...

We left the hostel at 10:30 and we first went to the Belfast Harbour Office. Nothing really interesting here... only a lot of engineering works...


En chemin, nous avons vu le War Memorial Building, on pensait qu'il y avait une exposition mais le bâtiment était fermé... On s'est peut-être trompé de bâtiment...
Ensuite, nous sommes revenues dans le centre pour manger un morceau dans une sorte de restau.

On the way, we saw the War Memorial Building. We thought there was an exhibition inside but it was close apparently...
Later, we went back to the centre to eat.


Dans l'après-midi, nous avons décidé d'aller à la Candy Factory (une fabrique artisanale de bonbons). Nous avions déjà pas mal visité le centre la veille et il ne nous restait pas non plus assez de temps pour partir la journée hors Belfast, on a donc fait un compromis. :o)
Après quelques renseignements pris à l'office de tourisme, nous sommes partis à pied rejoindre cette Candy Factory... Nous sommes allées nous perdre dans la "banlieue" pendant une bonne demi heure avant de la trouver.
Première réaction: "wow... ça m'a pas l'air bien grand ce truc... qu'est-ce qu'on est venues faire ici..." Mais, finalement, on a passé un bon moment. Le gars qui tient le magasin était vraiment marrant, il nous a montré comment ils faisaient le "Honeycombe" et nous a expliqué l'histoire de la fabrique, photos à l'appui... On a bien rigolé. :o) Il a même voulu nous prendre en photo avec un bonbon géant,... L'ancien président Mitterrand serait venu visiter le magasin et en aurait fait de même... Après, on croit ce qu'on veut. ;o)

On the afternoon, we decided to go to the Aunt's Sandra Candy Factory. We walked more than half an hour trough the subburbs... When we arrived, we were a bit disapointed at first, it did not seem as big as we expected... But finally, we had quite a lot a of fun.. :o) The owner was really friendly and showed us how they do the Honeycombe candy and he explained the story of the factory, etc. He even took a picture of us holding a giant candy... It was quite heavy, arf...



Ensuite, retour dans le centre, en bus cette fois. Puis "glandage" sur l'herbe avant de partir à la recherche de la Europa Bus Station afin de prendre le bus pour l'aéroport (£6, argh...). Comme on n'était que deux, ça ne valait quand même pas le coup de prendre le taxi cette fois...
Nous avions prévu trop large au niveau du trajet du bus, du coup, nous avons attendu vraiment longtemps avant de prendre notre avion... Ah... l'avion est un moyen de transport tellement rapide... 3h d'attente, 1h d'avion. ;o)

After, back to the city centre in order to take the bus (£6...) to the airport. We waited quite a long time in the airport because we were too early...

Et nous voilà de retour à Liverpool en fin de soirée. A peine rentrées, qu'une petite réunion entre potes avait lieu. :o)

Barely back in Liverpool than we had a friend gathering... :o)

Le lendemain matin, Amandine repartait pour la France. Et comme tout bon touriste prenant l'avion à l'aéroport de Liverpool: photo du Yellow Submarine et en compagnie de John au programme. ;o)

The day after, i went with Amandine to the airport and we took the traditional Liverpool visitors' pictures before she leaves : the yellow Submarine and John's statue. :o)
